In 2012, I led the redesign of apple.com's most complex system; its multi-billion dollar worldwide checkout and post-purchase systems.
In the Apple Online Store's largest project of that year, we added complex functional enhancements to
an already complicated system, refactored the Orders pages and related functionality, and fully redesigned
the Online Store's email suite.
Over the period of a full year, I led the design process by presenting designs to the Online Store's VP Jennifer Bailey every week, guiding complex discussions with engineering, Customer Service, and a variety of international partners. I was the central design evangelist and point of contact for the hundreds of engineers, QA engineers, and business owners charged with implementing the new designs worldwide.
