1 – Module I
Welcoming
and introduction to the faculty and the OccuCom®
System by Chuck Sherrod, DC, MPH, CIE, COES – Founder and
CEO of OccuCom®. This module provides an overview
of the OccuCom® system including its development
and structure, an update on the current legal and financial
pressures encouraging companies to address ergonomics, and
the components vital to implementing a successful ergonomics
program.

epidemiology along with root causation analysis, loss
control, and risk prioritization
- Brief
Historical Perspective of OccuCom® System and the
Regulatory Landscape

Day
1 – Module II
In this
module Ralph Anderson, MPT, CAE, CEES, COES will take you
through the A, B, C, D’s (Anatomy, Biomechanics, Causes,
and Diagnoses) of ergonomic injuries. This will set a foundation
for the evaluations and interventions that follow in Modules
and .

Day
2 – Module III
This
module examines facets of the workforce and of the workplace
that are commonly involved in ergonomic analysis, design
and planning. Toward the end of the module a sample ergonomic
evaluation for an office worker will be performed utilizing
the OccuCom System and its component forms.

2 – Module IV
This
module looks at established tools for analyzing risk, introduces
the technique of task analysis, and demonstrates a manual
materials handling evaluation.
